  • People educated:  11,538 for prostate cancer and 8,523 for colorectal cancer
  • 428 men screened for prostate cancer
  • 7 men diagnosed and treated for prostate cancer
  • 99  people screened for colorectal cancer 


2010 Research:

  • $401,436  research dollars awarded
  • 3 faculty members recruited
  • 2 translational research awards

  • $864,798  public health grant awarded
  • 1,212,817 people reached through media
  • People educated:  2,618 for prostate cancer and 2,723 for colorectal cancer
  • 122  men screened for prostate cancer
  • 8  men diagnosed and treated for prostate cancer
  • 99  people screened for colorectal cancer
  • One person diagnosed and treated for colorectal cancer
