ASCO 2007 Report
Research linking HPV to head and neck cancers was identified by the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) as one among six advances deemed most significant in clinical cancer research for 2007.
The research, led by Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center scientist, Maura Gillison, M.D., Ph.D., was featured in a report by the ASCO, entitled Clinical Cancer Advances 2007: Major Research Advances in Cancer Treatment, Prevention, and Screening. This independent project lists the significant advances in clinical cancer research over the past year and highlights other major advances in cancer.
