Bloomberg Building
The Charlotte R. Bloomberg Children's Center

The Charlotte R. Bloomberg Children's Center is named in honor of the mother of Michael R. Bloomberg--philanthropist, Hopkins alumnus, and Mayor of New York City--who contributed significant resources to make the facility and this creative collaboration come to life. The Charlotte R. Bloomberg Children's Center features over 500 works of art specially selected for the new facility, created by more than 70 artists from across the country.

The acquisition and integration of art into the buildings - and the way art informed the architecture and design - was made possible in large part to the generosity and vision of Bloomberg Philanthropies.
