Batya R. Radzik MSN, CRNP, BC is a nurse practitioner within the department of Anesthesia/Critical Care Medicine at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. She earned her associate and bachelor’s degree from The College of Staten Island, City University of New York, where she was awarded the Marcus Scholarship for outstanding academic achievement in nursing. Subsequently, Ms. Radzik earned her master’s degree with a specialization as an acute care nurse practitioner from the University of Pennsylvania. 

Before joining the NCCU team, she was a nurse practitioner for the Department of Neurology. Her primary role was within the cerebrovascular division where she worked with patients with a variety of diseases.

A member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and an active member of many professional organizations including the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association and American Academy of Neuroscience Nursing, Ms. Radzik has published in peer reviewed journals, presented posters at international meetings and lectured in national meetings. Her clinical interests include stroke in the young person, intraceberal hemorrhage, program development, and health care policy.
