Filissa Caserta MSN, CRNP-AC, CNRN has been a practicing RN for over 20 years, 18 in the field of neuroscience critical care. She obtained her BSN from The State University of New York at Binghamton and her MSN at The Johns Hopkins University. She pioneered the ACNP role in the NCCU in 2004.
Ms. Caserta holds a faculty appointment with The Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing. Additionally, she lectures nationally and internationally on topics pertaining to the assessment and management of patients with neurologic pathology. Her research interests involve the impact of complementary modalities on the neurologically impaired patient.
