The goal of this study is to determine how best to diagnosis early cardiac disease in Duchenne muscular dystrophy patients and determine prognosis and arrhythmia risk in patients with and without known cardiac involvement. In particular, we will study the usefulness of cardiac MRI to screen for early cardiac disease and follow patients with known cardiac involvement in conjunction with a number of other diagnostic modalities.
Inclusion Criteria:
- Confirmed clinical and/or molecular diagnosis of Duchenne muscular dystrophy
- Age 7-40
Exclusion Criteria:
- Dependence on mechanical ventilation
