Dr. Carlos Pardo-Villamizar received his medical degree from Universidad Industrial de Santander in Bucaramanga, Colombia. He obtained training in clinical neurology at The Instituto Neurológico de Colombia in Bogotá, Colombia. He went on to complete his fellowship in clinical and experimental neuropathology at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD and an internship in medicine at Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA. Finally, he returned to Johns Hopkins to complete additional residency training in neurology.
Now an Associate Professor of Neurology and Pathology at Johns Hopkins, Dr. Pardo-Villamizar focuses on neuroimmunological and infectious disorders of the nervous system, particularly multiple sclerosis, transverse myelitis, neurosarcoidosis and neurological complications of autoimmune disorders.
Dr. Pardo-Villamizar currently sees patients at The Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center located in Baltimore on Wednesdays.
