Dr. Eva Ritzl received her medical degree from the University of Cologne in Germany. She then completed her medical specialty rotation with the Greater Glasgow Health Board in Scotland. She went on to complete an internship at the Allegheny University in Philadelphia, PA and a residency in neurology at Harvard University in Boston, MA. She then came to The Johns Hopkins to complete a fellowship in epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology.
Now an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Johns Hopkins, Dr. Ritzl continues to focus on epilepsy and neurophysiology. Specifically, she focuses on EEG and intraoperative/diagnostic evoked potentials as well as the treatment of seizures and epilepsy, including evaluation for surgical treatment. Her research interests involve neuroimaging in epilepsy.
