Research Areas

In the last several years, our doctors have been involved in research aimed at clarifying the nature of gait and cognitive disturbances associated to these conditions. Current research involves investigating more sensitive radiological techniques to detect and characterize these conditions. Further, our doctors are pioneering techniques to monitor implanted valves and determine if they are functioning correctly.

Known for cutting-edge research in every field of medicine, the doctors at Johns Hopkins are continuously refining their protocols and developing more effective and safe pathways to care.
