Jan Wemmer earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland at Baltimore County, and a Master of Science degree from the University of Maryland School of Nursing. She has worked at Johns Hopkins Hospital as a nurse since 1980 and is a Nurse Practitioner in the department of Neurology and Neurosurgery, working with the Center for Cerebrospinal Fluid disorders.
