Kenny DeFontes graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from William and Mary College in 2007 with a B.S. in Biology. As an undergraduate, Kenny received a Howard Hughes Research fellowship for his research on a two-component signal transduction system in the bacterium Helicobacter pylori. Kenny is currently investigating the effects of expandable cage technology on spinal alignment, vertebral subsidence, and long-term back pain. Kenny is currently a medical student at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and is expected to obtain his medical degree in 2011. |
