Christopher Smith


Christopher L. Smith is a Ph.D. candidate in the Biomedical Engineering Department at Johns Hopkins.  He currently conducts collaborative research on the behaviors of human adult neural stem cells (ANSCs) and human brain tumor stem cells (BTSCs).  He utilizes novel microfluidic technology to study the migration, survival, and growth of these cells under various, precisely controlled conditions.  He makes use of this technology through the laboratory of his primary advisor, Andre Levchenko, Ph.D.
