Dr. Candice A. Shaifer joined the Brain Tumor Stem Cell laboratory as a postdoctoral fellow in June 2010. Her work focuses on the application of adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells (AMSCs) as an effective treatment for primary brain tumors.
Candice received her PhD in Biomedical Sciences with a concentration in Cancer Biology in May 2010 from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN.
