Model of the stem cell network in the adult human brain.
Our objective is to conduct a quantitative and qualitative protein analysis of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) from non-cancer and cancer patients.
We want to examine the differences in expression of various protein factors, such as cytokines, chemokines, and proliferation factors within the CSF of both pediatric and adult patients.
These factors will be analyzed for their effect on astrocyte migration, growth, and proliferation.
