Rodrigo Navarro-Ramirez, MD

Dr. Rodrigo Navarro-Ramirez

Dr. Rodrigo Navarro-Ramirez received his medical degree from the Autonomous University of Morelos, Mexico in 2005 , followed by a Master's in neuroscience from CINVESTAV (Center for Research and Advanced Studies) in Mexico City.   He is completing his residency in Neurosurgery at the General Hospital of Mexico.

His clinical and research interests include molecular treatments for gliomas, new surgical approaches for brain tumors, and translational medicine in developing countries.

Dr. Navarro-Ramirez's current research projects include:

  • 3D video documentation of challenging neurosurgical cases
  • Volumetric analysis of extent of resection impact in glioblastoma outcomes
  • Volumetric analysis of brain mapping impact in extent of resection
  • Prospective study of correlation of clinical and volumetric changes in non-surgical management of brain tumors
