Ishrat Ahmed is a MSTP student, currently in her second year at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She obtained her BS and MS degrees from Johns Hopkins University in 2009. Her research interests during those years focused on developing an autophagy-based animal model of Parkinson disease.
As part of Dr. Quinones-Hinojosa’s surgical outcomes laboratory, Ishrat is studying the neurological outcomes of mesial temporal lobe tumor resection.
