0:10  Pediatric brain tumors
1:01  Less than 2000 cases each year
2:01  Baby won’t complain of symptoms
2:42  Takes several months often to make diagnosis
3:26  Grading scale for astrocytomas
4:05  Some may spread elsewhere in the central nervous system
5:08  Many types of tumors can arise, depending on age and location in the head
6:02  May need treatment with radiation and chemotherapy also
7:08  Benign versus malignant
8:00  A lot of them may not grow
8:36  We have available to us many treatment modalities
