Jennifer Moran ACNP, CNRN has been an acute care nurse practitioner for four years. She graduated from James Madison University with a BS in Health Science and then attended the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing. After completing her nursing education, Ms. Moran worked as a registered nurse in the Neurosciences Critical Care Unit for three years before returning to complete her Masters degree at University of Maryland, Baltimore. She holds certifications as an acute care nurse practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and in neuroscience nursing (CNRN).
Ms. Moran’s clinical interests focus on the management of sepsis in the neuroscience patient and subarachnoid hemorrhage. Varied activities include precepting NP students, infection control, and expanding the role of the nurse practitioner in the ICU setting. She has presented and published information about the role of the acute care nurse practitioner in the neuroscience critical care unit.
