Scott has worked at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine since 2009. He completed his graduate work at Boston University School of Medicine, where he researched the potential utility of neurotoxins to selectively inhibit vesicular transmission in starburst amacrine cells.
At Hopkins, Scott manages pharmaceutical and clinical studies involving neuropathy and nerve degeneration. He performs immunohistochemistry and evaluates drug or treatment efficacy on disorders of the peripheral nervous system.
Scott holds a BA in Neuroscience from Franklin & Marshall College and an MA in Neurobiology from Boston University. He is currently pursuing an MBA at the Carey Business School at the Johns Hopkins University.
