Neuroimmunology Fellowship Curriculum

Didactic courses:

Neuroimmunology: A three credit course is offered every other year.

Advanced Virology Course: This course has a major focus on neurovirology and is offered in alternate years.

Translational Research in Neuro-AIDS and Mental Health: This course offers interactive teaching methods and runs every year in the fall semester.

Clinical Activities:

Fellows attend one of the following clinics one half-day each week:

  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Transverse Myelitis
  • Neuro-sarcoid
  • Neuro-AIDS
  • Neuro-immunology
  • Neuro-ID consult service
  • Lumbar Puncture clinic
  • Infusion center

Elective rotations are available in the following:

  • Demyelinating disorders
  • Neuro-ophthalmology
  • Neuropathology
  • Neuroradiology
  • Neuro-Urology
  • Neuro-rehabilitation

  • Neuro-immunology Case Conference
    Thursdays 1-2 pm
  • Neuro-immunology Seminar
    Alternate Tuesdays 1:30-2:30 pm
  • Neuro-AIDS Seminar
    Fridays 11-12 noon
  • Neurology Grand Rounds
    Thursdays: 8:30–10 am
  • Clinical Neuroscience Research Seminar
    Mondays 12-1pm
