Who We Are
The Johns Hopkins Center for Sleep comprises an interdisciplinary team of health care providers, including pulmonologists, neurologists, psychologists, anesthesiologists and otolaryngologists. All are all board-certified in their own specialty and most of whom are board certified or board-eligible in sleep medicine. The Johns Hopkins Center for Sleepr is fully accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
The Johns Hopkins Center for Sleep strives to provide outstanding clinical care for all patients with a wide variety of sleep disorders, as well as education for patients and their families, other physicians and physicians-in-training. The unique, interdisciplinary approach of our clinic provides patients with expert consensus on individualized diagnoses and management options that may include follow-up respiratory tests, additional neurological work-ups, or cognitive/behavioral therapy. Sleep-trained neurologists can help address sleep complaints related to other neurological conditions, including epilepsy, stroke, headache, and multiple sclerosis. The team's psychologists have specific expertise in treating insomnia with techniques other than sleep medications.
The physicians of the Johns Hopkins Center for Sleep are also involved in numerous research studies to improve our understanding of the mechanisms, diagnosis and treatments for sleep disorders.
