Think. Give. Cure.

Join our Quest: Friends of Brain Tumor Research

brain tumor research

Think.
About 17,000 people in the United States are diagnosed with primary brain cancer annually. Still others are diagnosed with tumors in the brain that have metastasized from other parts of the body. Then there are those patients with lesions in the brain not deemed malignant but considered dangerous nonetheless because of where they are located.

Give.
For the researchers in the Department of Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins University, a single mantra rules: Find better therapies for brain tumors.

Cure.
We are learning a great deal about the pathology of brain tumors in our laboratories. A gift of any size helps translate our research into new treatments and therapies for patients worldwide.

You may know firsthand, or have heard what it’s like for a loved one and their family to battle brain cancer.  We understand this which is why it is one of our greatest motivations for finding a cure.  The concept of neurosurgery was invented at Johns Hopkins in 1908. We hope that one day the concept of curing brain cancer will happen here too. We invite you to help us and be a part of our team by making a gift to the Think. Give. Cure. program for brain cancer.

By making a gift and becoming a friend of the brain tumor research program, you will receive the following:
