
Dr. Myers graduated from New Jersey College of Medicine and Dentistry in 1973, completed her training in Internal Medicine at Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore in 1976, and Nephrology at Johns Hopkins Hospital in 1978. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. Formerly in private practice where she managed several out-patient dialysis facilities, she has been back on the full-time Johns Hopkins faculty since 1998. She is Medical Director of Davita Dialysis Facility at Bond Street and Course Coordinator for Johns Hopkins Renal Grand Rounds. Her interests are in all aspects of clinical nephrology with a special interest in the benefits of early multifaceted intervention on the course of diabetic nephropathy in patients with type I diabetes.
