Renee Peterson, Physical Therapist
Renee has practiced physical therapy at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center for 18 years, including experience primarily in treating patients in the acute care setting. Her areas of concentration include wound care, the burn unit, and general medicine. For the past ten years, she has specialized in treating patients with cardiopulmonary disorders and is a resource for rehab staff, including staff and student education in this area. Renee has a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Old Dominion University (1988).  She is also a CPR instructor and a volunteer EMT-B.

Heide Morgan, Physical Therapist
Heide Morgan is a staff physical therapist, who has practiced for more than 19 years as a team member of the Rehabilitation Services department at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. Clinically at Bayview, she works on the acute service, and her specialties and interest include stroke, multiple sclerosis, spine disorders and spinal cord and traumatic brain injury, and neuromuscular and neuromotor diseases. Heidi also serves as an adjunct faculty member at University of Maryland Baltimore's Doctorate of Physical Therapy program.

Heide is a graduate of University of Maryland at Baltimore (BSPT 1985) and a current graduate student in the DScPT program and University of Maryland. She is a Board Certified Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy, and was awarded the certification by the American Physical Therapy Association in 1999.

Sara Simard, Nutritionist
Sara Simard is a registered dietitian (RD) and licensed dietitian/nutritionist (LDN) who specializes in weight management at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland# She is certified in adult weight management through the American Dietetic Association.

Sara will be the Education and Research Chair for the Maryland Dietetic Association for a two-year term starting in June# Among other community activities, Sara is a mentor for undergraduate nutrition students through the College of Health and Human Development at PSU.

Sara obtained a MS degree with a concentration in health science administration from Towson University in Towson, Maryland in May of 2007, a BS in Nutritional Sciences from The Pennsylvania State University (PSU) in State College, Pennsylvania, and received her RD certification through the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center Dietetic Internship Program in Baltimore, Maryland.

She is a member of the American Dietetic Association, Maryland Dietetic Association, and the Weight Management/Bariatric Surgery dietetic practice group.
