MALDI-TOF Training (by appointment):

Before you may use the Voyager DE-STR MALDI-TOF you MUST attend a two hour training session.  Once trained you may use the MALDI-TOF at $50/hr (JHU investigators) from 8 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday. Training sessions for the MALDI-TOF are held on Thursdays from 10am-Noon or 2-4pm in Physiology 601 and are free of charge.  Scheduling for training is by appointment.  Please contact Chad Bradford at cbradford@jhmi.edu to set up a training session. 

Please let the staff know:  (1) types of compounds to be analyzed; (2) mass range of interest; (3) relative amounts to be analyzed; and (4) expected buffer components in your samples. 

Please bring the following to the course: (1) Password; (2) Budget number; and (3) Up to 2 samples to analyze (optional).

Role of Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry in Biomedical Research (ME 330.804)

Dr. Robert Cotter and Dr. Amina Woods (NIDA, Bayview Campus) direct the course, however, lectures will also be given by Research Associates Ben Gardner and Dongxia Wang.
