Before you may use the Voyager DE-STR MALDI-TOF you MUST attend a two hour training session. Once trained you may use the MALDI-TOF at $50/hr (JHU investigators) from 8 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday. Training sessions for the MALDI-TOF are held on Thursdays from 10am-Noon or 2-4pm in Physiology 601 and are free of charge. Scheduling for training is by appointment. Please contact Chad Bradford at email@example.com to set up a training session.
Please let the staff know: (1) types of compounds to be analyzed; (2) mass range of interest; (3) relative amounts to be analyzed; and (4) expected buffer components in your samples.
Please bring the following to the course: (1) Password; (2) Budget number; and (3) Up to 2 samples to analyze (optional).
