The treatment of skull base tumors requires a team of dedicated, highly specialized and experienced doctors, nurses and therapists of different disciplines working together seamlessly. The Johns Hopkins Minimally-Invasive Brain and Skull Base Surgery Center is where a very large number of these relatively rare tumors are treated.
Each patient’s unique circumstance is discussed in a multidisciplinary team meeting. Neurosurgeons, otolaryngologists, neurologists, radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, plastic surgeons, ophthalmologists, nurses and therapists all participate in determining the best treatment plan.
