Normal Aerobic Flora

Aerobic Organisms Identified

*Anaerobic Organisms Identified

2 or more of the following organisms in equal amounts:

• Staphylococcus sp. (coag neg)
• Streptococcus viridans
• Micrococcus sp.
• Corynebacterium sp.
• Neiserria sp (non-N. meningitidis/gonorrhoeae)
• Bacillus sp.

Any organism not listed as normal aerobic flora. 

Pure growth of any aerobic organism.

Skin,cellulitis/Decubitis ulcer:

• Bacteroides fragilis group
• Clostridium perfringens
• Pure growth of any anaerobic organism 

All other cutaneous sources are inappropriate for anaerobic cu
