Tara was born in Massachusetts. She studied at Ringling College of Art and Design where she received her BFA in Illustration. While at Ringling, she became a Trustee Scholar and was invited to be the class speaker at commencement. After graduation, Tara attended the University of Central Florida to study Biology. In 2006, she attended the renowned Illustration Academy headed by illustrator, Mark English, and was fortunate to work with other notable illustrators such as Gary Kelly, C.F. Payne, Anita Kunz, Sterling Hundley and many more.Tara says she believes that happiness lies in laughter and finds any excuse to do so.
