Ian Suk is the Spine Center's medical illustrator. He specializes in imaging complex surgeries for various medical journals and textbooks. He teaches several courses in medical illustration at The Johns Hopkins University Department of Art as Applied to Medicine.
Ian, a 1993 graduate of the University of Toronto, Department of Biocommunications, joined the full-time faculty of the Department at Johns Hopkins in 2002 to continue his work with Dr. Ziya Gokaslan in the Department of Neurological Surgery following their move to Baltimore from MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.
