Courtney grew up in Horsham, Pennsylvania. She received a BFA in illustration from Rhode Island School of Design. After graduation she moved back to Pennsylvania where she started her own gallery and custom frame shop. During this time she returned to school to study Biology and soon realized what path she wanted to take. Her love for art, science and medicine brought her to Hopkins where she is excited to combine her passions into a career in Medical and Biological Illustration. Courtney loves to spend time with her family, friends and dog Duncan. She enjoys running, snowboarding, cooking, being outdoors and traveling whenever possible.
"I am grateful everyday to be at Hopkins where I am surrounded by prestigous faculty who are passionate about teaching and classmates who have become a second family."
