Assistant Professor, Dept Molecular and Comparative Pathobiology and Clinical Veterinarian, Research Animal Resources.  Faculty appointment with clinical, research, teaching, and administrative responsibilities. Clinical duties focus primarily on the preventative health and management of large animal species (NHP, dogs, cats, swine, etc.), as well as peri-operative and post-operative management of surgical models.  Also responsible for teaching and mentoring of laboratory animal and pathology fellows. Member of the IACUC, with training and teaching responsibilities.

Research Focus:
Rickettsial infections, specifically Anaplasma and Ehrlichia species, also Bartonella and Borrelia; animal model development of human and animal disease and microbial pathogenesis.
