1) American Acupuncture
Americanacupuncture.com is a wonderful website full of diagrams (see link of resources) if you click on Ear acupuncture, there will be a picture of an ear with the points in correspondence to other parts of the body. Not only does it have diagrams for the ear but for hand, body, feet, tongue, etc. It explains about pulse diagnosis and gives a very simple history of acupuncture. I highly recommend you visit this website.

2) The Medical Acupuncture Webpage.
This website is not as flashy as all the other websites I have seen, but it is one of the best. There are links to other great links. Diagrams of needling methods of Acupuncture under the link of Therapeutic basics. How to hold a needle, and where is the best place to insert the needle in. It definitely gives basic educational material on Acupuncture.

3) Welcome to Acupuncture.com -- Resources For Patients, Practitioners & Students
This website is a great resource because of all the links to other various websites. Under the library area there is an explanation of different types of acupuncture and Chinese medicine related to acupuncture such as acupressure, tui na, etc. This page has very little information about the topic itself but is the best place to start when learning about Chinese Medicine. However, it does get a bit confusing if you do not know exactly what you are looking for.

4) AcupunctureToday.com - The ABC’s of TCM and Acupuncture
At first look, this website is a current events for Acupuncture in today’s society. If you want current articles on the benefits of acupuncture, this is the website for you. However, in the ABC’s of TCM and Acupuncture link, there is concise information on what acupuncture and TCM is. There is a term list to explain “Common Traditional Chinese Medicine Terms and Theories” such as Qi, Jing and Shen, along with other popular concepts such as Yin/Yang in Chinese Medicine. There is also and herbal link that gives a listing of commonly used herbs.

5) Acupuncture.edu - Layman's Guide
This is a Layman's Guide to Oriental Medicine. Unlike most other websites, the way it gives you information is through an FAQ section. It is pretty concise in covering all questions in areas for the interested individual. The best section would have to be the Glossary. It defines many terms used in TCM. I think this is a pretty weak source of information.
