Microwave Ablation

Microwave ablation is a technique similar to radiofrequency ablation. This technique involves destroying the liver tumor with the application of a probe directly into the tumor. However, unlike RFA, which utilizes alternating radiofrequency energy, microwave ablation utilizes microwave energy to destroy the tumor.
