LGBT Resources at Johns Hopkins Medicine

Welcome!

Johns Hopkins Medicine values and embraces the diversity of its community — neighbors, patients, families, faculty, staff, students and trainees. We are committed to ensuring that patient care, service delivery and the healing environment are designed in a way that respects the individuality of all employees, patients and visitors.

We are guided by a drive to provide world-class care to every patient and exceptional biomedical education to each student and recognize that this starts with creating a welcoming environment. Johns Hopkins Medicine provides constantly evolving set of resources for patients, families, employees and students to educate and inform, improve care, foster collaboration and support each individual’s health care needs.

We welcome your feedback and invite you to contact Johns Hopkins Medicine’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion at diversity@jhmi.edu.

Johns Hopkins LGBT Baltimore Pride 2016

More than 300 people represented Johns Hopkins Medicine and Johns Hopkins University at the 41st annual Baltimore Pride Parade on July 23, 2016. Led by a “scrubs rainbow” and accompanied by a Lifeline ambulance and a Blue Jay shuttle, the Johns Hopkins crowd’s enthusiasm earned it the Best Walking Group award in the parade.
