Traveling for Care?
Whether you're crossing the country or the globe, we make it easy to access world-class care at Johns Hopkins.
The Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center staff believe patient and family education is one of the most important things we do. We teach patients and their families how to actively participate in their care. Every new patient receives a a customized binder. It is his or hers to keep. You will receive your Patient Guide during your first visit. The handouts include information on the disease, treatment, coping with side effects and the psychological impact of cancer, nutrition, exercise and what to do when treatment is over. Use the menu bar at the left to navigate the Patient and Family Education section of the Web site. ;
