What: Nancy Scimone knew from the age of six that singing would be her lifelong passion. With a commitment to sharing joy, hope and beauty through music, her distinctive vitality continues to reach listeners in both intimate soirées and enormous concert halls. Her fans use the words "joy," "magical," "merveilleux" "formidable" and "grace" to describe her live performance persona.
A trained soprano who sings in six languages, Nancy Scimone performs as soloist with duo, ensemble and full orchestra in classical and contemporary vocal music. Her diverse solo performing includes transcendent cathedrals, Kansas farming communities, New York City clubs and the Kennedy Center Concert Hall.
