Clinical Fellow Awarded the 2010 PAN CAN Leadership Grant

Zehshaan A. Rasheed, M.D., Ph.D.

Zeshaan A. Rasheed, M.D., Ph.D., clinical medical oncology fellow, has been awarded the 2010 Pancreatic Cancer Action Network-AACR Pathway to Leadership Grant. The grant, totaling $600,000 over five years, will support Rasheed’s efforts to examine the relevance of cancer stem cells in pancreatic adenocarcinoma. This is the first year the grant has been given.

The goal of the grant, which is open to postdoctoral or clinical research fellows, is to expedite scientific medical discoveries that benefit patients.
