Second Annual Ace Deming Memorial Golf Outing
The Second Annual Ace Deming Memorial Golf Outing to benefit brain cancer research at the Johns Hopkins Division of Pediatric Oncology will be held October 4, 2014. Ace battled an aggressive pediatric brain tumor for eight months before his passing in March 2013 at the age of three. The Annual Golf Outing donates all proceeds to Ace’s physician, Dr. Eric Raabe and his research team to help children who are treated for Medulloblastoma and other pediatric brain cancers.

The 22nd Annual Outback Steakhouse Charity Golf Tournament
When: Monday October 13
Registration begins at 9:00 a.m.
Where: Turf Valley Golf Course in Ellicott City
Price: $1,250 a Team of Five/ $250 per person

This amateur golf tournament is one-of- a- kind and promises fun and excitement! Over 350 golfers enjoy Outback Steakhouse food and hospitality on two beautiful courses. Teams consist of five players. Player fee includes greens fees for 18 holes of golf, cart fees, a personal cart liaison, a commemorative gift, and food and beverages throughout the day. When rounds are completed, golfers enjoy an Aussie dinner (more food!) and an Awards ceremony. Prizes are awarded to winning teams and individuals. Participants are also able to bid for impressive silent auction items.
Competition is friendly and fun, while the ultimate goal remains to help children fight cancer.

13th Annual Children's Cancer Foundation Gala: A Star Spangled Celebration
WHEN: Saturday October 18
Honoring Giant and the 2014 Triple Winner Campaign. Giant donated over $1.5 million dollars to the Johns Hopkins Division of Pediatric Oncology to help fuel revolutionary research currently being done at the Institute. The Gala is a tribute to Giant’s commitment to helping find better treatments for children with cancer.
To join on this fun night and be serenaded by a Bruce Springsteen tribute band.

The 7th Annual Andrew Bentz Bull and Oyster Roast will be held October 25th from 8:00pm-midnight at the Heritage Parkville Gardens. This event includes more food than you can imagine, beer, and a fun night of games, raffles, and dancing. Tickets are only $40.00 a piece or $400.00 for a table of ten.
This event is held in memorial of Andew Bentz, who passed away from pediatric leukemia and complications of graft vs. Host Disease in 2008. All funds are donated to Andrew’s doctor, Dr. Allen Chen, who researches better treatments for Graft vs. Host Disease.

Park Polic Golf Tournament

The 13th Annual Golf Tournament presented by the Officers of the United States Park Police FOP and the Outback Steakhouse, is November 3rd, 2014. This golf tournament is for charitable causes. All proceeds will be donated to The Johns Hopkins Cancer Research Center.

Zaching Agains Cancer - Living the Dream

Living the Dream is the first event of its kind, to raise money for pediatric cancer research and childhood cancer survivor scholarships. This event will be held at the Sports Legends Museum and will include complimentary perusing, food, and music.
This event is held in Memory of Zach Lederer, who started the world wide “Zaching” phenomenon which raised awareness for childhood cancer. Living the Dream is one of the many ways that Zach’s family is continuing his mission. Learn more and be a part of Zach’s dream.
