Traveling for Care?
Whether you're crossing the country or the globe, we make it easy to access world-class care at Johns Hopkins.
When new Oncology patients over the age of 80 (born 1927 or earlier) seek a first appointment at the Kimmel Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins, we now have a new, specialized service for them. These patients can be seen in the Geriatric Oncology Program at Johns Hopkins Bayview, which is open every Wednesday.
All patients over the age of 80 will benefit by taking advantage of this new service, but especially those who have significant medical problems, in addition to their cancer diagnosis, and those already on multiple prescription medications.
The Geriatric Oncology Program of the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center is located in the John R. Burton Pavilion on the Johns Hopkins Bayview campus. Consultations with a patient’s primary care provider also are available. For more information about referring a patient call 410-550-6580.
