Breast Self-Exams

If you have not undergone a bilateral mastectomy and still have breast tissue, you should do a breast self-exam regularly. This may be the best way for you to learn how your breasts feel so you can detect any changes. If you are unsure of how to perform a self breast exam and what else to look for around your chest area, make sure to ask one of your health care providers to demonstrate.
