Important Road Closure and Emergency Entrance Information
Important changes are taking place on the Johns Hopkins Bayview campus to prepare for the construction of the new emergency department.
- Nathan Shock Drive is closed from Bayview Boulevard to Bioscience Drive.
- MTA bus stops at the blue awning (BMO entrance) and on Nathan Shock Drive (by the emergency department) are closed. Bus 22 and Bus 30 have been rerouted, with stops at Bayview Circle.
- The emergency department entrance has been relocated to the mid-campus parking lot, with access for emergency vehicles and patient drop-off on Hopkins Bayview Circle. The ED entrance on Nathan Shock Drive is permanently closed.
Please plan accordingly, and allow extra time to travel to and from campus. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we expand the emergency department to help increase patient flow, decrease patient wait times and improve patient safety.
