Making an Appointment
To schedule an appointment at the Metabolic Bone and Osteoporosis Center on the Johns Hopkins Bayview campus, please call 410-550-BONE (2663). Patients typically are referred by a primary care provider. Most insurance plans are accepted.
Referrals are preferred and may be faxed to 410-550-3062. Medical records may be faxed to 410-550-6864.
For appointments on the Sibley Memorial Hospital campus, call 202-237-BONE (2663). Fax referrals to 202-244-4129.
Johns Hopkins Bayview is located on the eastern edge of Baltimore City, only minutes from the Baltimore County line.
From points South (including BWI Airport):
Take I-295 north to the Harbor Tunnel Thruway (I-895). After exiting the tunnel, take exit 12, Lombard Street. At the first stop light, proceed straight onto Bayview Boulevard.
Take I-95 through the Fort McHenry Tunnel to exit 59 (Eastern Avenue). Turn left onto Eastern Avenue and proceed approximately one mile to Bayview Boulevard on the right.
From points North and East:
Take I-95 south to exit 59 (Eastern Avenue). Turn right onto Eastern Avenue (west) and proceed approximately one mile to Bayview Boulevard on the right.
Take I-895 south to exit 12, Lombard Street. At the first stop light, turn right onto Bayview Boulevard.
Once on campus:
Follow campus signage to the East garage and park. Patients also may be dropped off at the blue awning entrance directly across from the East garage.
From the garage, enter the Medical Center via the blue awning entrance (directly across the street). Go the security desk to obtain a patient/visitor pass.
Patients of the Metabolic Bone Center are seen in the orthopaedic clinic, located on the second floor of the Bayview Medical Offices (BMO). Head left after visiting the security desk and take the blue elevators (about halfway down the hall on the left) to the second floor. The orthopaedic clinic is to the right after exiting the elevators.
