Cardiology

The division of cardiology at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center is part of the Johns Hopkins Heart and Vascular Institute, a world-renowned center providing the highest quality cardiovascular care and research. The division includes cardiologists, physician assistants, registered nurses and numerous technicians and staff members to treat all our patients cardiac needs.

Inpatient services include a coronary intensive care unit (CICU) and progressive care unit (PCU), cardiac catheterization, primary angioplasty, echocardiography, electrophysiology, stress testing and cardiac rehabilitation.

The division offers outpatient consultation and evaluation for new patients in the 301 building. Outpatient services include general cardiology clinics and specialized clinics devoted to heart failure and cardiomyopathy, arrhythmia and pacemaker management, comprehensive vascular care and preventive and rehabilitation services.
