Cheryl Koch, MS, RD, FAND, LDN

Vice President, Support Services

A 20-plus-year veteran of Johns Hopkins Bayview, Cheryl Koch, MS, RD, FAND, LDN, serves as the vice president of facilities and support services at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. Her current responsibilities include oversight of all support services functions at the Medical Center, as well as facilities engineering, design and construction, and service excellence. In addition, Koch has responsibility for the Clinical Nutrition Department in the Johns Hopkins Health System's Academic Division.  

As a registered dietitian, Koch has held a variety of roles at Johns Hopkins Bayview since 1993. In her current role, she has focused on integration of services in strategic areas, such as supply chain and facilities. She also acts as the capital administrator for the Medical Center and oversees capital projects for the facility. Committed to nutrition education, she has established a two dietetic internship programs at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, in partnership with The Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health. She has previously served as a site visitor for the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetic Education and on the advisory board of the University of Maryland Dietetic Internship program.

Koch values the profession of dietetics and has been an active member of both the Maryland and American Dietetic Association for over 22 years. She has held several positions (including president) within the Maryland Dietetic Association, and has served on numerous national committees. She is a fellow of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, American College of Healthcare Executives and the American Society of Healthcare Engineers.

During her tenure at the Medical Center, Koch also has led a number of fund-raising initiatives, including the campaigns for United Way and Juvenile Diabetes.
