Toxin and bacteria interactions with intestinal epithelial cells.
Looking for a motivated individual to study the mechanisms of Shiga toxin and C. difficile bacteria interactions with intestinal epithelial cells using biochemical and molecular biology methods.
Experience in biochemistry is necessary. MUST be USA permanent resident or citizen.

Water transport across the intestinal epithelial cells
Looking for a motivated individual to study the mechanisms of water transport across the intestinal epithelial cells in physiologic and pathophysiologic conditions using confocal/multiphoton microscopy and biochemical approaches.
Experience in electrophysiology and/or biochemistry is necessary.
