Dr. Herlong has been a member of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine faculty since the late ‘70s. After a 15-year term as the Associate Dean for Student Affairs, he decided to step down and return full-time to his work in hepatology at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. |

Dr. Vining graduated from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 1972 and has been a member of the departments of Neurology and Pediatrics at Johns Hopkins since 1976. She is currently Director of the John M. Freeman Pediatric Epilepsy Center at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center. She is also the Lederer Professor of Pediatric Eplilepsy and a Professor of Neurology and Pediatrics at Johns Hopkins. |

He is currently a Professor of Pathology and Oncology at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Director of the Division of Gastrointestinal/ Liver Pathology, and Director of the Sol Goldman Pancreatic Cancer Research Center. |

Dr. Tarpley was a member of the Surgery house staff and faculty at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. He is currently Professor of Surgery, Assistant Chief of Surgical Service at the Nashville Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center and Director of the Vanderbilt General Surgery Residency Program. Dr. Tarpley began his two-year term as President of the Johns Hopkins Medical and Surgical Association during the 2005 Biennial Meeting. |
