MHA Scholars Program Now Accepting Applications

The Maryland Hospital Association is now accepting applications for its 2008-2008 Scholars Program.  This year, a portion of the scholarships will be designated to minorities through the MHA Minority Scholars Program.

To be eligible for the scholars program, students must:

  • be accepted to or enrolled in a program leading to a degree or certificate in life sciences, nursing, or allied, and be within one to two years of completing educational requirements;
  • have a GPA of 3.0 or higher for pre-requisite courses, or be certified by the school to be eligible for financial assistance;
  • be a MD resident attending a MD college or university;
  • be employed or be an active volunteer at a MD hospital.
