In accordance with the desire of Senior Management to ensure the quality of the work of its management and staff to foster employee satisfaction, growth and development, and to minimize the legal, financial, and physical risks posed by insufficient training, the Department of Human Resources will coordinate manager training, supervisor training, and lead training as follows:
1. Within one year of initial employment, it is expected that all new managers and supervisors will complete a JHH manager or supervisor training cohort.
2. Within one year of promotion into a manager or supervisor position, it is expected that all newly promoted managers and supervisors will complete a JHH manager or supervisor training cohort.
3. The new Lead Development cohort will be posted in our Learning Opportunities Catalogue (LOC). Those in Lead positions can enroll themselves, with their supervisor's approval, in Lead Development cohorts.
