Organization Development

The Department of Human Resources aims to improve the performance of people, procedures, and processes at work. These efforts are strategically related to the institution's Service Excellence and work process improvement goals, which focus on efforts to meet the demands of a competitive and rapidly changing market.

The Organization Development and Training Consultants and Supporting Staff work with departments to improve teamwork and group effectiveness, encourage individual and group growth and manage the change process. Key to this function is support for the Manager/Supervisor development programs.

OD Consulting includes:

  • Managerial Consulting
  • Assessment Diagnosis
  • Group Process Consultation and Facilitation
  • Design and Development of Improvement Strategies
  • Group, meeting, and problem-solving facilitation
  • Team Building
  • Consultation on the Design and Delivery of Customized Department Training
  • Referrals to Operational and Administrative Support
