Quality Reporting

Quality and Patient Safety Reporting

Both Johns Hopkins and Joint Commission policy forbid retaliatory actions being taken against employees for having reported concerns to the Joint Commission.

Any employee having patient care or safety concerns at The Johns Hopkins Hospital is encouraged to address those concerns with their immediate supervisor and if necessary, utilizing their departmental chain of command, until resolution.

If those concerns remain unresolved, you are invited to contact the Joint Commission Office of Quality Monitoring at 1-800-994-6610 or E-mail complaint@jcaho.org.

Both JHH and Joint Commission policy forbid retaliation being taken against employees for having reported concerns to the Joint Commission.
